Fake Photographs
FACT: ELVIS WASN’T IN THE ARMY LONG ENOUGH TO ATTAIN THE RANK OF STAFF SERGEANT.
BELOW: On February 11, 1960, just three weeks before Elvis received his Honorable Discharge from the Army, he received his Sergeant stripes. A Sergeant has three chevrons on the sleeve. RIGHT: However, in this photograph, Elvis has the four chevrons of a Staff Sergeant. This may have been the misdoings of Elvis’s manager, Thomas Parker, better known as “The Colonel.”

MUG SHOTS REAL OR FAKE

LEFT: On the internet, Elvis’ military i.d. photograph (top middle and large ABOVE RIGHT photograph) is placed among actual stars who were arrested. The others were hauled off to jail at some point in their lives Shown here are eight mug shots. Elvis was never arrested in his life.
ARMY ISSUE: RUE MOUFFETARD; AN OBVIOUS CATCH
BELOW: Army issue undershirts were and still are WHITE only. Someone didn’t care for Army discipline and decided to turn Elvis’ 1958 Army issue undershirt into a decade’s later t-shirt.

JOHN LENNON
RIGHT: Shown in this obvious fake with John Lennon. The correct photograph is on the FAR RIGHT, showing Lennon by himself. Elvis wasn’t there.

FAR LEFT: Shows Elvis on his way home to Graceland after being Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Army. This is a fake background. The real one is the BOTTOM LEFT: Showing Elvis leaving the U.S. Army, but with military personnel in the background.

Who was it really?
It appears that this Dolly Parton doctored photograph was during the time of Elvis’ discharge. The original photograph featured Nancy Sinatra (pre-These Boots Are Made For Walking). The picture with Dolly Parton is as fake as a $13.00 bill.

NOT EVEN CHEROKEE
This is NOT Morning Dove!
Elvis’s great-great-great-grandmother was Cherokee. Her name was
Morning Dove.
All over the internet this photograph is labeled as being Elvis’s Cherokee ancestor. The truth is, this photograph was taken by photographer, Lee Major Moorhouse. She was an Umatilla Indian from Oregon and Washington territories. The Cherokee nation lived in the Southeastern regions. This is a glass negative and is contained in the Bureau of American Ethnology – 1850s-1930s.

ABOVE: As you can see in this photograph, the 1956 Elvis is observing his image on a street advertisement. However, if you look in the background, everyone is in 21st Century clothing. I will admit, this is one of the better fake photographs which took a little imagination to create.
MARLON BRANDO

ABOVE: An Elvis headshot has been strategically placed on Marlon Brando’s body. The original photograph on the right is of Brando in 1955 at an Awards Ceremony with Katy Jurado. In 1955, Elvis was just twenty years old and just began touring with the Blue Moon Boys. This is an older Elvis profile.

TOP LEFT: A lot of these photos are blurred just enough to keep you from detecting that they are fake. Like the one you see here where Elvis’s head was placed on Marlon Brando’s 1953 photo. In 1953, Elvis was just graduating from high school.
BOTTOM LEFT: Another photo where Elvis’s head was placed on Marlon Brando’s body. The person who altered this photograph should have researched how Elvis was not a cat person. Brando loved cats and here he is photographed at home relaxing with his cat.
TOP RIGHT: It is unknown why there is an infatuation with switching heads with Marlon Brando. This photo isn’t a very good one. The head of Elvis is sized poorly, bitmapped, and blurry.
BOTTOM RIGHT: Obvious fake and poorly done. The ORIGINAL photograph of Brando shows him preparing for his 1950 film debut The Men.
MISTAKING ETAs FOR THE REAL MCCOY
Granted, there are quite a few good ETAs (Elvis Tribute Artists). Here are two photographs that many don’t know are fake.
RIGHT: Someone placed Elvis’s head on top of this ETA’s body. This impersonation was a reenactment of the 1973 Aloha Satellite Special. However, the guitar is a dead giveaway.
FAR RIGHT: During the Satellite Special, Elvis performed using his 1969 Custom Gibson Ebony guitar.

LEFT: Again, here is another photograph circulating online and falsely claiming to be Elvis. This is Brazilian ETA, Edson Galhardi. You can find this exact photograph from his performance at the Teatro Itália in São Paulo, Brazil on Thursday, November 19, 2015.
PAUL NEWMAN

This 1956 shot of Elvis’s head was place on Paul Newman’s body. Photograph taken on location during the filming of the 1958 Western, The Left Handed Gun.
SUIT STYLE

FAR LEFT: Even though Elvis was a very classic conservative dresser and definitely made a suit look great (i.e., Jailhouse Rock, Girls! Girls! Girls!, It Happened at the World’s Fair, etc.), it didn’t stop the falsifier from switching Elvis’ head with the actual model on the LEFT.
THE BOND EFFECT
Turning Elvis into James Bond didn’t go over to well with these photographs. BELOW LEFT we have Elvis switched from Daniel Craig. BELOW RIGHT we have Pierce Brosnan (my personal favorite Bond) changed to Elvis.

VAMPIRE DIARIES

FAR LEFT: Now whether Elvis bit peoples’ necks or not, I cannot tell you. What I can tell you is that Elvis did not play the part of the dashing and clever Damon Salvatore in Vampire Diaries. That honor goes to Ian Somerhalder shown on the LEFT.
ELVIS MINISERIES 2005

ABOVE: Another fake photograph circling the internet. This one has many fooled. So much so, that on Facebook, several people still swear that the Elvis photograph is authentic. Yes, that is Elvis’ head ABOVE LEFT, but the body is not. The real photograph is ABOVE RIGHT of Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

LEFT: These fake head switches came from the 2005 mini-series called Elvis. Jonathan Rhys Meyers played the part of Elvis.
DEAN MARTIN

ABOVE: Both Dean Martin and Elvis had a love for horses, but this love goes to Martin shown with his horse ABOVE RIGHT. Martin was on location during the filming of FIVE CARD STUD.
NOT EXACTLY ELVIS’ STYLE!

ABOVE: Another stock photograph from Getty Images. This is one that is easy to see as a fake because Elvis never dressed this dumpy. Additionally, Elvis was never caught in a pair of jeans outside of a move role. The headshot of Elvis is from the movie STAY AWAY, JOE.
FRANK SINATRA

Elvis covered MY WAY and made it his own even thought it had been popularized by Frank Sinatra. Maybe that is what gave someone the stupid idea to take Elvis’ photograph as a youth and stick it under Sinatra’s hat ABOVE RIGHT. ABOVE LEFT: The photograph of Elvis is his school photograph at thirteen years old in East Tupelo, Mississippi. Circa 1948. ABOVE CENTER: The photograph of Francis Albert Sinatra, shows him to be around the age of 10, sporting the fedora hat that would become part of his signature look.
DAVIDE FORMISANO

ABOVE CENTER: Davide Formisano was born in Milan in 1974. Elvis died in 1977. After wining several competitions, he obtained the solo flute role at the Hamburg Philharmonisches Staatsorchester, getting the same position in the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra one year later. From 1997 until 2012 he was principal flute in the “Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala” and in the same Philharmonic Orchestra. As a soloist he performed with several orchestras such as Bayerischer Rundfunk, Rundfunkorchester Basel, Tonhalle Ensemble Zurich or Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala with conductors as Riccardo Muti and Daniel Barenboim. In 2004, he featured as a soloist with the Philharmonic Orchestra of The Scala during a world tour. ABOVE LEFT: Is a photograph of the 1956 publicity still for LOVE ME TENDER, Elvis Presley’s first movie role. ABOVE RIGHT: Is the weird mixture of Elvis’ face and Davide’s flute and ear.
ANN-MARGRET
FAR RIGHT: The original photograph is of Ann-Margret and Roger Smith. RIGHT: They stuck Elvis’ head over Roger Smith’s head. Ann-Margret was married to Roger Smith in 1967. They were married until he died in 2017. Yes, Ann-Margret did have a relationship with Elvis in 1963 during the filming of VIVA LAS VEGAS. They remained friends until Elvis died in 1977.

BRAD PITT

FAR LEFT: Blurred as you can see. Elvis’ head is placed over Brad Pitt’s head. The original photograph is LEFT.
CHARLES BRONSON

ABOVE RIGHT: The original photograph is of Charles Bronson playing the role of Paul Kersey in Death Wish (1974). ABOVE LEFT: Is Elvis’s head thrown on top of Charles Bronson’s.
DARTH VADER vs. PRESIDENT RICHARD NIXON

Elvis Presley met President Richard Nixon in the Oval Office on December 21, 1970. ABOVE LEFT: Who thought to replace Nixon with Darth Vader? ABOVE CENTER: So now they switched Elvis’ head with Nixon. ABOVE RIGHT: Finally, the original photograph of Elvis with Nixon in the Oval Office.
ENRIQUE IGLESIAS
RIGHT: A rather nicely done switch. As we see here, Elvis’ head has been placed on the body of Enrique Iglesias.

FAR LEFT: This is so silly. Why would this counterfeiter choose this smiling headshot of Elvis? Who smiles as if they are posing for a selfie while fighting on the front lines?
LEFT: The larger photograph is the original from the video game BROTHERS IN ARMS.

Just when you thought you couldn’t be more frightened by a monstrous fake Elvis photograph, another pops up. This one is really bad. Someone decided to dream up an age transformation on Elvis, but I don’t believe Elvis would have aged as badly as the photograph on the ABOVE LEFT.
ABOVE RIGHT: To keep history accurate, it is necessary to show Elvis’ new fans and some of his old fans the original photograph from 1969. This original photograph is from Elvis’s Live Dinner Show on August 3, 1969.
PRISCILLA FAKES

ABOVE: This photograph of Priscilla was taken in Germany in 1960. She most certainly was not looking at a live concert of Elvis in Tupelo, Mississippi on the television. Elvis performed his first Tupelo concert in 1956, making this a four-year difference. In addition, the Tupelo concert was not televised.
RIGHT: People are so desperate to distort history that someone took this original stock photograph from Getty Images (shown FAR RIGHT) and used it to create a fake image of Elvis and Priscilla. You can see how Elvis’ head looks odd on the original model’s body.

FAR LEFT: Again, a generic photograph shows the heads of Priscilla and Elvis placed over the models in the original photograph LEFT.

ABOVE LEFT: There are so many splendid “REAL” photographs of Elvis and Priscilla; there is no need to create new ones. If the creator of this fake photograph had an inkling about Elvis, they would have known his style of dress was culturally the style of Black musicians. This shirt was definitely not part of that musician style. Additionally, Elvis was partial to Pepsi; not Coca Cola. ABOVE RIGHT: The original photograph is so much better, why anyone would change it makes absolutely no sense.

ABOVE TOP: Are fake wedding photographs of Elvis and Priscilla. The creator changed their clothing into more modern wedding attire.
ABOVE BOTTOM: These are the original wedding photographs.
RIGHT TOP: Elvis kisses a fan during one of his concerts in the 1970s.
RIGHT BOTTOM: The creator of this fake placed Priscilla’s face over the fan’s.

ABOVE LEFT: Shows a little bit of switching around here from two different photographs to create this Priscilla and Elvis picture. ABOVE CENTER: Priscilla taken out of this photograph with Jo Smith during the mid 1960’s. ABOVE RIGHT: Is the original photograph of Elvis on location during the filming of FOLLOW THAT DREAM.

ABOVE LEFT: Priscilla Beaulieu’s head with a strange hairstyle and eye color was placed on top of another girl’s body; creating this “weird fake”. ABOVE RIGHT: The original photograph is of Elvis and June Juanico, a girl he dated from Biloxi, Mississippi. June details her experience with Elvis in her book Elvis in the Twilight of Memory. To read June’s book, click the button below.

ABOVE: Two iconic couples, but one is the fake photograph. Can you guess? TOP LEFT: This fake photograph of Priscilla and Elvis had a little more thought put into it compared to the others. BOTTOM RIGHT: The original of Elizabeth Taylor and Welsh actor Richard Burton is located at the National Portrait Gallery in London, England. Taylor and Burton were married twice and divorced twice. Once in 1964 and again in 1975.

ABOVE: Priscilla’s head was placed on top of the original photograph of Elvis with a fan
shown ABOVE RIGHT.
LISA MARIE FAKES
Parent Switch
Needless to say, it is difficult to enjoy authentic photographs when you have so many fake ones all over the internet. There are new fans of Elvis’ that don’t know the difference. LEFT: They moved the image of Lisa Marie out of the photograph with Priscilla and threw it into the photo with Elvis (FAR LEFT).
BELOW: They removed the image of Priscilla with Lisa Marie and put it in a grainy photo with Elvis.
BELOW: A horrible color change from blue to red. The photograph (BELOW RIGHT) is part of a series of family photographs.

ABOVE: A switch from stock photograph models to Elvis (whose head is incredibly large in the photo) and Lisa Marie.
BELOW LEFT: Lisa Marie and Elvis’s head covers and earlier photograph of Elvis with a little fan named Sheila Riddell (BELOW RIGHT).

BELOW LEFT: This photograph’s background change blackens out the original photograph of Elvis sitting in a car and puts Lisa Marie in his lap.

RIGHT TOP: Granted this is kind of sweet, but it’s not the original photograph. That would be Lisa Marie in color (LOWER RIGHT).

FAR LEFT: Again, the creator has taken a photograph of baby Lisa Marie and stuck it in a photograph with Elvis.
FAR RIGHT: The original is of Elvis Presley and a guest at George Klein’s wedding on December 5, 1970. However, a fake was created using a much older Lisa Marie Presley long after her father’s death in 1977 (TOP RIGHT).

YVONNE LIME
BELOW RIGHT: Yvonne Lime who played Sally in Loving You spent Easter weekend with Elvis and his parents at Audubon Drive in Memphis, Tennessee. During this weekend, Elvis took Yvonne to see Graceland during its renovation. BELOW LEFT: A fake photograph with a fan sticking her head on top of Yvonne Lime’s head.

BACKGROUND CHANGES
RIGHT: If it says “piertos creations” it is fake. This indication on the bottom of the photograph makes it easy to tell the photo has been manipulated.
FAR RIGHT: This is the original photograph where the sideburns are groomed; not shaggy.

FAR LEFT: Again, here is another photograph circulating online where the background has been changed from the original publicity still on the LEFT.
LEFT: An image of Elvis in a fake photograph with a dog in front of the shotgun shack he and his mother left when he was a toddler.
RIGHT: The original 1949 photograph of the fourteen-year-old Elvis and his girlfriend, Betty Ann McMahan, sitting on the curb on Winchester Street across Lauderdale Courts in Memphis, Tennessee. The photograph was taken by neighbor, Margaret Cranfill, whose shadow you can see in the photo.

LEFT: This beautiful publicity still for the movie, Stay Away, Joe, was taken and forced into a background ranch scene (FAR LEFT) consisting of a white horse, fence, and trees. There is a heavy black line drawn down the right side of the hat and face of Elvis on the fake photograph.

ABOVE LEFT: Is a complete fake. Something went wrong with the eyes while manipulating the photograph. Though there are some fake photographs where they took the time to at least try and make it look convincing. This is NOT one of those times. The head was taken from a screen shot from the 1957 movie Loving You (ABOVE RIGHT).
RIGHT: The original photograph of Elvis was taken on July 4, 1969, at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee with Marvin “Gee Gee” Gambill, Jr. Gambill was at one time married to Elvis’ cousin, Patsy Presley. He was a longtime friend of Elvis Presley and a member of his personal staff/entourage in the 1960s.
FAR RIGHT: This fake shows the image of Elvis placed in front of Graceland.

FAR LEFT: Places the image of Elvis from the larger photograph on the LEFT in front of the staircase inside of Graceland.
MILTON BERLE

TOP LEFT: This may be a bit of a fooler to some. I’ve seen other photographs where this fan placed her photograph on top of the original. The original of course is Milton Berle (BOTTOM LEFT).
AMAZON FAKE
JAMES DEAN
LEFT: The original photograph is of James Dean and Tab Hunter in 1955.
LEFT: This photograph is a fake. James Dean died on September 30, 1955. Elvis was touring in 1955 with the Blue Moon Boys. The photograph of Elvis is from a photo shoot by Ed Braslaff at the Knickerbocker Hotel on August 18, 1956. James Dean was dead at this time.
ABOVE: Here is a true problem with fake photographs. This is being sold on Amazon from Italy. I wonder how many people mistakenly purchased the fake photograph believing it is authentic.
THE MICK
Mickey Charles Mantle (October 20, 1931 – August 13, 1995), nicknamed “the Mick” was an American professional baseball player who played his entire Major League Baseball (MLB) career from 1951 to 1968 with the New York Yankees. Mantle is regarded by many as being one of the best players and sluggers of all time. He was an American League (AL) Most Valuable Player three times and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974.
RIGHT: This fake photograph of Elvis with Mickey Mantle shows the New York Yankee baseball player holding up four fingers in the locker room at Ebbets Field to signify the four runs that resulted from the grand slam he hit in the third inning. The Yankees won the game, taking the lead in the World Series 3-2.

FAR LEFT: Is the original locker room photograph of Mickey Mantle.
LEFT: Elvis Presley in 1955 at Brooklyn High School in Cleveland, Ohio with Bill Haley.
BOB DYLAN
TOP RIGHT: Bob Dylan’s image is covering one of Elvis’ fans, J.M. Gargiulo (far right photograph in the white shirt), in this Las Vegas photo on August 12, 1969. The original photograph is FAR RIGHT.

YOUNG WHITNEY HOUSTON
TOP LEFT: Is a fake picture of Elvis with a young Whitney Houston. BOTTOM LEFT: Is the original photograph of Elvis and Colonel Parker backstage at the International Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday, July 28, 1969.
GIANT
Hudson & Taylor

FAR RIGHT: A manipulated photograph using the images of Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor, and Elvis Presley. RIGHT: Is the first original photograph of the cast of GIANT featuring Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor, with Boxer Rocky Marciano visiting on location in 1956.
LEFT: Is the original photograph of Elvis with Merle Kilgore, who started his career at the Louisiana Hayride in Shreveport, Louisiana.

CLOTHING COLOR DISTORTIONS
Following are several horrible clothing color distortions.
RIGHT: This altered color change from the original white suit to the garish pink is from the movie The Trouble With Girls.

LEFT: Someone tampered with the original beautiful jumpsuit Elvis wore on stage during the 1970s. This was one of the first jumpsuits Elvis ever wore and was named the ” Blue Tapestry ” and ” Blue Aqua suit “. That falsified hideous green on the FAR LEFT has got to go.

ABOVE LEFT: A fooler of a color change, because someone took the time to do the Photoshop conversion properly.
ABOVE CENTER and RIGHT: This classic green jacket worn by Elvis was purchased at Lansky Brothers located on Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee. Elvis graced the pages of “Dig Magazine” wearing this green jacket.
ALFRED WERTHEIMER
Born in Germany in 1929, Alfred Wertheimer, immigrated to Brooklyn, New York when he was a young boy (year unknown). Wertheimer became famous for his historical photographs of Elvis after Elvis passed away on August 16, 1977.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a famous sidewalk in Los Angeles that honors the entertainment industry. It’s made up of stars embedded in the pavement on Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street.
Elvis Presley received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on February 8, 1960. The star was given to him in the Recording category at 6777 Hollywood Boulevard.

LEFT: Elvis records with his band at the RCA Victor Studio 1 on East 24th Street in New York, New York. This July 2, 1956, recording session gave us Hound Dog and Don’t Be Cruel. This photograph is included in a series of beautiful photographs by Alfred Wertheimer.
FAR LEFT: An image of Elvis in 1956 is placed in front of his Walk of Fame star which he didn’t receive until 1960.

FAR LEFT: An exhausted Elvis in a crouched position backstage at the Minneapolis Auditorium in Minneapolis, Minnesota with Edward Thornton (old friend Tupelo, stationed at Fort Snelling at the time) rubbing his shoulders on Sunday,
May 13, 1956.
LEFT: Another image of Elvis in 1956 is placed in front of his Walk of Fame star which again, he did not receive until 1960.

ABOVE LEFT: The original photograph is of Elvis and his cousin Carol Junior Smith on the train ride home to Memphis from New York in July 1956. Smith was only 28 years old when he was found dead on February 4, 1961. Sadly, it is rumored that his alcoholism is due to his experience from the Korean War.
ABOVE RIGHT: Smith’s image is removed and the Beatles who didn’t become international stars until 1964. This series of beautiful photographs were taken in 1956 by photographer, Alfred Wertheimer.

LEFT: Death certificate of Carol J. Smith
FIRST PUBLIC PERFORMANCE
On Thursday, September 9, 1954, Elvis and the Blue Moon Boys performed at the Katz-Drug Store Lamar-Airways Shopping Center.
RIGHT: The image of Elvis and his car were removed and placed in front of the Memphis Recording Service.

LEFT: The original photograph was published in DIG MAGAZINE’s November 1956 edition. Elvis is seen here in the shopping center’s parking lot.
STANWYCK’s ADOPTED SON
TOP RIGHT: THIS IS NOT ELVIS. If you purchased The Elvis Encyclopedia, you can see this photograph of the adopted son of Barbara Stanwyck and her first husband, Frank Fay mistakenly labeled as Elvis at two years old. The child, Dion Anthony Fay, was adopted in 1932. Elvis wasn’t born until 1935. In later years, it is reported that Dion was alienated from Stanwyck. Under the Comstock laws during that time, in April 1960, Dion was arrested for selling pornographic materials (Congress didn’t repeal the remaining 1873 Comstock Laws until 1965).

ABOVE: A known photograph of Elvis at
two-years-old with his parents.

LEFT: Recently, the internet has thrown this photograph of this child around and is mislabeling it as Elvis. I guess any photo of any child will now be labeled as Elvis. The fake photos are endless.

ABOVE: This photograph of Elvis with Roy Hamilton is often mislabeled as Elvis with James Brown, as stated on page 446 of FROM ELVIS AT THE AMERICAN SOUND STUDIO.
PRESLEY FAMILY FAKES

ABOVE: Needless to say, the original photograph isn’t hard to detect. This 1956, photo of Elvis and his mother, Gladys Presley, was taken in black and white. There have only been a few colorized photographs of the authentic Elvis photographs that were able to fool people. This isn’t one of them.
RIGHT: Again, if it says “piretos creations” it is false. In this one, they decided to slip Elvis in the photograph with his mother, Gladys Presley. It is pretty clever. Though if you look closely you can see a few errors in Elvis’ arms and shoulders. Also, Gladys has been stretched oddly.

LEFT: The true photograph is in black and white with Gladys alone in the photo.

ABOVE: This fake is weird because it attempts to turn Elvis into a middle-aged man. Though the original on the right of Elvis’ parents, Vernon and Gladys Presley, look like middle-aged parents would look. This photograph was taken in Memphis, Tennessee in 1954 by photographer, William Speer.
MARILYN MONROE FAKES
Elvis Presley was born in 1935 and Marilyn Monroe was born in 1926. Marilyn performed in her first film roles in 1947. In 1947, Elvis was twelve and living in Tupelo, Mississippi. It wasn’t until 1953 when Marilyn landed her role in GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDS; a role she is very much known for with her performing DIAMONDS ARE A GIRL’S BEST FRIEND. In 1953, Elvis was just graduating from high school. Both Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe are American icons, but there is no record that they actually met.

ABOVE LEFT: This is a strange head switch. As you can see, Marilyn Monroe’s head is awkwardly placed over Debra Paget’s head. It was easily detected because Marilyn’s head is way too big, and the shadows are all wrong.
ABOVE RIGHT: The original publicity still for Love Me Tender. Marilyn did not play the role of Cathy Reno; Debra Paget did.
RIGHT: Nice try! Marilyn Monroe’s head has been placed over Mary Ann Mobley’s head. The scene is from the 1965 movie, GIRL HAPPY.

ABOVE LEFT: A combination of two photographs to create this fake one.
ABOVE CENTER: This original photograph with Elvis was taken from a scene with Dolores Hart in the 1957 movie, LOVING YOU.
ABOVE RIGHT: Thursday, January 14, 1954, Marilyn Monroe and Joe Dimaggio were married at City Hall in San Francisco, California.

ABOVE LEFT: Elvis in a publicity still with Jennifer Holden who played the role of Sherry Wilson in the 1957 movie, JAILHOUSE ROCK.
ABOVE CENTER: Marilyn in a publicity photograph with Jack Paar in the 1951 movie, LOVE NEST.
ABOVE RIGHT: Poorly merged images of Elvis and Marilyn taken from two different photographs. They didn’t even remove all the background from behind Elvis’ head.

ABOVE TOP LEFT: The original Marilyn headshot.
ABOVE LOWER RIGHT: Elvis on location with Jennifer Holden during the filming of the 1957 movie, JAILHOUSE ROCK.
ABOVE CENTER: This fraudulent photo shows they placed Marilyn’s head over Jennifer Holden’s body.

LEFT: On Saturday, August 18, 1956, Elvis was photographed by Ed Braslaff at the Knickerbocker Hotel in Hollywood, California. From this original came two fakes described below.
RIGHT: The original photograph of Marilyn Monroe in New York City, New York at her residence at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Circa 1955. From this original came two fakes as well.

LEFT: Big fake! Elvis has been placed onto this Jaguar XK120 Roadster. The original picture by photographer Ed Braslaff shows him sitting on the roof of the Knickerbocker Hotel in Hollywood, California on Saturday, August 18, 1956.
CENTER: As you can see, the image of Elvis and Marilyn were taken from the original photographs described ABOVE.
RIGHT: There is no documented evidence that James Dean and Marilyn Monroe met, though some believe they may have met privately. There are no known photographs of the two stars together. This artwork has been manipulated from other original photographs.
