"BRITCHES" was cut from the movie because they required Elvis to sing it while riding a horse; Elvis thought it looked dumb. "SUMMER KISSES WINTER TEARS" was dropped from the movie when the preview audience laughed at the ridiculous scene where Elvis sang it around the Kiowa's campfire while the tribe's chief accompanied the song on war drums.
